Benson hat ja einst ganz ordentlich angefangen, als Sideman in der besten Orgelcombo der Sechziger (Jack McDuff) … mit Hubbard taucht er da und dort auf und ist okay, auch auf einem (lange zurückgehaltenen) Blue Note-Album von Lee Morgan („Taru“) stört er keinesfalls.
