Und was soll der Satz mit „zu allem Überfluss“ und Dolphy? Dolphy hat kaum was arrangiert, weder auf „Africa/Brass“ noch sonstwo – wäre interessant, wenn es mehr gäbe, aber Dolphy als Arrangeur gibt es eigentlich gar nicht. In der 1995er Doppel-CD gibt es dazu genauere Angaben, aber ich habe sie gerade nicht griffbereit – Wikipedia sagt z.B. dies: „[…] Coltrane called on Dolphy and Tyner to orchestrate. Originally credited to Dolphy alone on the initial release, that has been corrected with the appearance of the 1995 reissue. […] For the two original pieces, „Africa“ and „Blues Minor,“ Dolphy and Coltrane adapted Tyner’s piano voicings for the orchestra.“ – Und Orchestrieren ist selbstredend nicht arrangieren. Die Arrangements bestehen aber meist auch nicht aus viel mehr, als sie auf Quartett-Alben Coltranes bestehen – die Ausnahme ist „The Damned Don’t Cry“ von Cal Massey (von Romulus Franceschini orchestriert).
