Billie Holiday – Lady In Satin (1958)
Eigentlich keine Musik für einen Frühlingsmorgen, denn Billie Holiday befindet sich auf Lady In Satin im Spätherbst ihres Lebens und das hört man ihrer herben Stimme auch an. Die Hochglanz-Streicherarrangements stehen dazu in eigenartigem Kontrast, was der Aufnahme einen ganz besonderen Reiz gibt.
Ich vermute, bei dieser Platte sind wir uns einig.
