Duke Ellington – Jazz at the Plaza Vol. 2 – ein exzellentes Live-Album von 1958, das nun in Japan doch endlich mal noch auf CD erschienen ist … macht grossen Spass! Auf der zweiten Hälfte gibt es Gastauftritte von Jimmy Rushing und Billie Holiday schaut auch noch vorbei, begleitet von einer kleinen Combo mit Buck Clayton. Kernstück ist die „Toot Suite“, die fast die gesamte erste Seite der LP einnahm (auf dem Plattencover „Jazz Festival Suite“ betitelt).
