Red Garland – It’s a Blue World | Noch ein Trio-Album von Garland-Chambers-Taylor, inzwischen Februar 1958, mit sehr tollen Stücken: „This Can’t Be Love“ und „Since I Fell for You“ bzw. „Crazy Rhythm“, „Teach Me Tonight“ und „It’s a Blue World“. Vermutlich das beste Klaviertrio der Jahre 1957/58 – meine Vorbehalte Chambers und vor allem Taylor gegenüber gehen bei all den Aufnahmen jedenfalls völlig vergessen!
Und gleich nochmal … die kenne ich noch nicht so gut wie andere („Red Garland’s Piano“ vor allem, die lief sicherlich am häufigsten, Percy Mayfield sei Dank), und sie ist wirklich gut!
