gypsy tail wind… und Monk/Coltrane at Carnegie Hall, „Misterioso“, das Vogue Solo-Album, „At Town Hall“? Für meine Ohren nicht, aber es zählt mit den genannten und ein paar anderen zu den besten.
Okay, ertappt, ich kenne natürlich nicht alle. „5 By Monk By 5“ ist meiner Ansicht nach besser als: „Brilliant Corners“, „Monk’s Music“, „In Action“, „Misterioso“, „At The Black Hawk“, „With John Coltrane“, „Criss-Cross“, „Straigh,t No Chaser“ und „Monk/Coltrane at Carnegie Hall“.
