Nachdem ich mich hier anerkennend über den gut gefake-ten spiritual, universal conciousness und revolution of the mind Jazz von Matthew Halsall geäußert hatte, habe ich mal diese Compilation mit original black power, afro-centricity and spirituality Jazz rausgeholt. Wie fast immer, eine hervorragende Zusammenstellung von Soul Jazz Records mit Musik von the likes of Sun Ra, AEOC, Archiv Shepp, Joe Henderson, Gary Bartz und auch einer ganzen Reihe mehr oder weniger obskurer Musiker sowie umfangreichem, informativem und schön gemachtem Booklet.
