Pepl ist aber auch überaus erwähnenswert – die beiden waren wirklich gut! „Gegenwind“, die ECM im Trio mit Jack DeJohnette und „Live, Montreux ’81“ habe ich allesamt als LPs. Noch nicht sehr oft gehört, kennen lernte ich die Musik der beiden mal in einer Ö1-Jazznacht und dann via Dime, wenn ich mich nicht irre. Die LPs fand ich alle innert kürzesters Zeit im Antiquariat in der Nähe – stammten wohl alle aus derselben Sammlung. Die „Austria Drei“ ist etwas abgegriffen und rauscht auch ziemlich, aber egal.
