Gleich nochmal – muss ich demnächst auch mal richtig laut und aufmerksam anhören.
@clau: KD ist natürlich in Sachen Bebop auch noch zu nennen – er folgte in Parkers Band auf Miles, aber das weisst Du wohl längst. Die Live-Aufnahmen aus dem Royal Roost, die Savoy veröffentlicht hat, beginnen mit Miles und dann folgt (auf ca. 2/3 der Aufnahmen) Kenny Dorham. Sehr hörenswerte Aufnahmen, wie gesagt. Dorham hat auch bei ein paar Small Group-Sessions mitgewirkt damals, aber einmal mehr habe ich nicht die geringste Ahnung, wie man die auf Vinyl finden könnte – aber streamen kannst Du das vermutlich ziemlich lückenlos.
