Uff, verwirrend! Dass bei den Small Group-Stücken nicht Ellington am Piano sitzt, ist mir natürlich bekannt, aber da ich die Aufnahmen wie gesagt nur in der 3CD-Ausgabe kenne, hatte ich keine Ahnung von der ursprünglichen Veröffentlichungsgeschichte!

Aus meiner alten Ausgabe von Bruynickx (der blöderweise die Sessions MIT Ellington auch unter dessen Eintrag führt) – ich hoffe, ich habe alles erwischt:
