Vol. 5 der phantastischen World Transcriptions dann morgen … zur Nacht noch eine kleine Combo mit den drei Solisten Clark Terry (flh), Jimmy Hamilton (cl), Paul Gonsalves (ts), einem Posaunen-Chor aka „pep section“ (Quentin Jackson, John Sanders, Britt Woodman) und der Rhythmusgruppe (Ellington, Jimmy Woode, Sam Woodyard). Eine Art Anknüpfung an die vielen Small Group-Sessions der Dreissiger, bloss gibt es diesmal (1958) vornehmlich Standards zu hören: vom „St. Louis Blues“ und „Body and Soul“ über „Perdido“, „Take the ‚A‘-Train“ und Lionel Hamptons „Midnight Sun“ bis zu „Early Autumn“.
