Die Platte ist mir irgendwie in die musikalische Speisefolge gerutscht, zwischen Elektronica und Rock und irgendwie passt das dann auch. Klingt jedenfalls mehr nach elektronischer Musik der 90er als nach Jazz. Dabei hat Bill Laswell gar nicht mal so viel an den Originalen verändert. Eigentlich hat er sie nur anders geschnitten. So eine Art short version von Miles‘ Elektrophase. Schöne Platte, die aber ein besseres Cover verdient hätte.
