Phantastisches Album, später als „Cannonball & Coltrane“ wieder aufgelegt.
Cannonball wollte Wynton Kelly ja für seine Band gewinnen, doch der mochte nicht … zu hören ist er aber auch auf „Takes Charge“ und dem tollen Album mit Milt Jackson … und er ist das „Plus“ auf „Quintet Plus“ (auf den Stücken mit Kelly wechselt der reguläre Pianist Victor Feldman an die Vibes).
