schöne geschichte – wie ellington benjamin, brand, gertze und ntshoko ins pariser studio einlädt, ankommt, eine dame im einen arm, billy strayhorn im anderen, (…)
Diese Szene nehme ich in mein imaginäres Ellington / Strayhorn-Biopic mit auf. Dazu erfinden würde ich noch, dass Strayhorn in seiner freien Hand auch noch eine Flasche Martini hat … Oder Gin. Die Zigarette im Mund versteht sich von selbst.
