„Kelly Blue“ hab ich ja sogar verschwiegen, das ist gewiss die bekannteste seiner Scheiben – und klar, sie ist gut!
Und „Things Are Getting Better“ mag ich unheimlich gerne! Überhaupt mag ich Cannonball sehr – aber „Quintet Plus“ hat bisher nicht so eingeschlagen, muss es mal hervorsuchen.
Von den Vee Jays wäre „Kelly Great“ wohl die erste Anspielstation, mit Lee Morgan und Wayne Shorter:
