CD 5 aus der Box mit Rollins‘ Prestige-Aufnahmen (leider habe ich nur die kleine ZYX-Ausgabe, ohne anständiges Booklet).
Auf Sonny Rollins Plus Four ist das Max Roach/Clifford Brown Quintet zu hören, dem neben Rollins auch Pianist Richie Powell und Bassist George Morrow angehörten, auf Tenor Madness findet sich das berühmte Titelstück mit John Coltrane, die Rhythmusgruppe dort und auf dem Rest des Albums ist die des Miles Davis Quintetts: Red Garland (p), Paul Chambers (b), Philly Joe Jones (d). Die Aufnahmen stammen aus dem März bzw. Mai 1956.
