Die Atlantics kannst Du Dir auf jeden Fall anhören, „Plays the Blues“ und „Coltrane Sound“ (’s Sound?) stammen von den Sessions, in denen auch“My Favorite Things“ entstand. „Ole“ ist dann ein etwas anderer Fall (würde ich eher mit „Africa/Brass“ und den Live-Aufnahmen aus dem Village Vanguard gruppieren, zu denen Du natürlich auch gehen kannst, aber damit würde ich noch etwas warten). Noch vorsichtiger wäre ich mit „Ascension“, damit landest Du mitten in der Avantgarde, Kollektivimprovisation, Soli, die mit neuen Klängen experimentieren etc. Was Coltranes „Grosswerke“ betrifft, rate ich, zuerst „A Love Supreme“ hören, das wäre nach/neben „Crescent“ dann passend. Davor ist dann noch „Live at the Village Gate“ mit dem beklemmenden und überirdisch schönen „Alabama“.
