Du brauchst ja nicht mit der Avantgarde einzusteigen … hör Dir mal „Coltrane“ an (die Impulse-Scheibe, nicht das Leader-Debut auf Prestige), oder das Album mit Duke Ellington und „Ballads“ … oder auch „Crescent“, wobei die schon deutlich anders/weiter ist, aber dennoch wunderschön.
