Hier kommt alles zusammen, Jones/Durham passt für einmal perfekt, Peterson ist in unglaublicher Form, der Klang der Aufnahme phantastisch, die gewählten Stücke toll: die „ringer“ sind Edu Lobos „Tristeza“, Jobims „Triste“, Legrands „Watch What Happens“ und Schifrins „Down Here on the Ground, dazu hören wir die Standards „I Loves You, Porgy“, „You Stepped Out of a Dream“ und „Fly Me to the Moon“ sowie ein wundervolles Peterson-Original namens „Nightingale“.
