Die Freshsound-CD enthält nicht nur das weithin bekannte und auch offiziell problemlos zu kriegende Debut-Album „Introducing Paul Bley“ mit Charles Mingus und Art Blakey (1953) sondern auch das zweite, im Jahr darauf über drei Sessions entstandene EmArcy-Album (zweimal war Percy Heath am Bass, einmal Peter Ind, am Schlagzeug sass Al Levitt).
