Paul Bleys Beitrag zur Box „Jazz ’n (e)motion“ – nicht mein Lieblingsalbum von den fünfen, wohl auch, weil Bley die Vorgabe einfach so umsetzte, dass er Standards nahm wie „Laura“, „All the Thing You Are“ oder „I Got Rhythm“ wählte, die (auch) in Filmen gespielt wurden. Dennoch ein schönes Album mit einigen sehr starken Stücken.
