Wenn ich grad schon bei verkopftem, überkomplexen – in Forumsunsprache pseudo-intellektuellem – Jazz bin, nach meiner zweiten Coleman nun meine (endlich!) allererste Iyer-CD, ebenfalls grad vorhin gekauft. Das Quartett mit Mahanthappa, Crump und Gilmore ist natürlich toll, ich kannte es von diversen Radio-Mitschnitten, Iyer und Mahanthappa habe ich beide auch schon live gesehen, aber eine CD stand bisher einfach noch nicht im Regal. Lässt sich wie erwartet ziemlich verdammt gut an!
