Zum Auftakt das phänomenale Villa-Lobos-Ding (mit Leonard Rose am Cello – ein Sanguiniker!), dann Arien aus Opern von Gounod (Roméo et Juliette, Faust), Massenet (Manon), Musik von Hahn, Duparc (mit unterschiedlichen Orchestern und Dirigenten), Debussy, Ravel, Koechlin, Moehr und schlieslich Bragas „Folk Songs of Brazil“ (mit Milne Charnley am Piano). Die Aufnahmen entstanden zwischen 1945 und 1947, ein paar Arien sind auch von 1941 und 1950.
Die andere Masterworks-CD von Sayão kriege ich ja demnächst – und freue mich auf sie
