Die erste CD enthält Mozarts Violinkonzert G-Dur (KV 216) und Beethovens Violinkonzert, aufgenommen am 13. November 1946 mit dem Orchestre de la Société des Concerts du Conservatoire (keine Ortsangabe, wohl am ehesten Paris). Und in Mozart-Konzert hat mich Francescatti sofort! Hat er mehr Mozart aufgenommen? Das könnte wunderbar passen, nicht?
Es ist eine Schande, dass Sony sich nicht besser um seine vielen, vielen Francescatti-Aufnahmen kümmert!
