Nach einem kleinen funky Intermezzo (Baby Face Willettes „Face to Face“ – das grösste Orgeljazzalbum aller Zeiten … nunja, neben „Back at the Chicken Shack“ natürlich ;-)) bin ich wieder bei Oistrach, höre seine Mozart-Aufnahmen für EMI. Da ist zuerst das dritte Konzert von 1958 (Philharmonia Orchestra) und dann die ganzen Konzerte (Nr. 1-5 von 1971, Sinfonia concertante und Concertone von 1972) mit den Berliner Philharmonikern. Es dirigiert immer Oistrach, im Concertone und der Sinfonia concertante stöst Sohn Igor hinzu, in der Sinfonia überlässt der Vater ihm den Violinenpart und wechselt auf die Viola.
