sparchZumindest die ersten beiden stehen im Regal. Blood And Chocolate ist gut und hat seine Momente (vor allem I Want You) aber Punch The Clock war mir immer zu glatt.
Wenn Du auf das Rauhe und Kantige bei Costello stehst, dann ist es logisch, dass Deine Wahl aus den von mir vorgeschlagenen Alben auf „Blood and chocolate“ fällt. Ist mir übrigens auch sein liebstes Album. „Punch the clock“ wirkt dagegen, genau wie „Imperial bedroom“, wie poliert. Aber diese Songs (jsut to name a few: „Everyday I write the book“, „Shipbuilding“, „Pills and soap“) sind doch oftmals Höhepunkte in seinem Schaffen.
