Ist ja im Jazz oft auch nicht anders – man denke an Hodges oder Webster und ihre Balladen.
Insbesondere mit Johnny Hodges rennst Du bei mir offene Türen ein. Ben Webster muss ich erst noch entdecken. Mal die Platte Mulligan meets Webster kaufen. Aber das ist off topic.
gypsy tail windVon Tjader vergass ich noch, das schöne Album mit Getz zu erwähnen, ist hier aber eher off-topic, da es doch ein recht klassiches Jazz-Set ist (mit Vince Guaraldi, Eddie Duran, Scott LaFaro und Billy Higgins).
Ohhh ja, das ist auch super, und mit dem langen Stück Ginza Samba hat es ja zumindest auch einen südamerikanischen Touch.
