mich persönlich interessieren die bands der dritten ska-welle kaum. das war doch alles eher was für studenten und hippies, aber nicht mehr smart. aktuell sind es die aggrolites, die wirklich noch gut sind. ansonsten fand ich früher mal the riffs, arthur kay & the originals, the rude boys und the hotknives aus dieser zeit ziemlich gut.
Das sind aber heftige Vorurteile. Ich kenne zum Beispiel 2 katalanische Skabands, die eine interessante Verbindung von traditioneller Musik und Ska herstellen können, sehr hörenswert, vor allem Live. Die eine Band ist sogar sehr neu und jung. Aus Valencia: Obrint Pas.
