Im Januar 2012 wird Lauras neue LP (zumindest in Europa) über City Slang veröffentlicht.

Den Titeltrack kann man sich hier schon mal anhören.

If Beasts of Seasons was a record about quietness and frailty, La Grande is a record about strength, and finds Gibson not just crawling, but leaping out of her shell. The album came to form with much encouragement and musical help from Joey Burns of Calexico, The Dodos, and several Portland luminaries. However, some of the most magical moments are when Laura plays all the instruments – which include acoustic and electric guitars, bass, percussion, piano, pump organ, vibraphone, marimba and a marching drum.
