Kenn ich bisher fast nur als toller Tenorsaxophonist, u.a. mit Jaki Byard („Live! At Lennie’s“ & „More from Lennie’s“), von Elvin Jones‘ ersten Blue Note Alben (im Trio mit Jimmy Garrison – glaub dort spielt er auch mal Sopran, ist ja schliesslich stark Coltrane-geprägt…) und natürlich von den grossartigen Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Big Band Sessions auf Solid State.
