Sie nahm mit den Jordanaires (Elvis Presley´s Background-Singers) auf und war auch als Schauspielerin aktiv, z.B. mit Elvis in „Viva Las Vegas“ und mit Steve McQueen in „The Cincinnati Kid“. Außerdem sang sie live auf JFK´s Geburtstagsparty – 1 Jahr nach der Monroe. Die Beatles coverten diesen Song öfter live, nahmen ihn aber nie offiziell auf.
