Also nochmal zu Lateef, ja, so bis „Golden Flute“, „Psychocemotus“, und den Impulse-Alben, die’s nie auf CD gab („Jazz Around the World“, „A Flat, G Flat, and C“, „1984“), bis dahin find ich alles was ich kenne super (und ich kenne fast alles… die Ausnahme ist meines Wissens das 1958er Argo-Album – von Adderley hab ich auch fast alles, aus der Zeit, mit oder ohne Lateef, und die Band mit Lateef find ich die tollste!).

von den Atlantics hab ich bisher nur drei, aber auf „The Blue YL“ und „YL’s Detroit“ gibt’s tolle Sachen, „The Diverse“ ist etwas schwächer, aber auch das sind immer noch **** (die ersten beiden) bzw. *** oder ***1/2 Alben!
Das ist schon ne ganz schöne Reihe!
