THE SENSUAL WORLD von Kate Bush halte ich für einen sehr gelungenen Songtext, da er es, neben lyrischen Qualitäten, versteht auch sinnliche und körperliche Erfahrungen, Liebe, Sex, Erotik, jenseits von Plattheiten, darzustellen. Molly Blooms Monolog* aus James Joyces ULYSSES war für die Britin Inspiration und Ausgangspunkt dieser doppelten Hommage. Beide Texte beginnen und enden mit dem von Joyce als eindeutig weiblichem Wort definierten “Yes”.
