Rattlesnakes ist eine Perle von Album. Lloyd Cole versteht es hier meisterlich, seine wundervollen Texte mit hübschen kleinen Melodien zu versehen. Alles wirkt so leichtfüßig und ist doch sehr melancholisch.
So auf Albumlänge ist ihm dies leider nie mehr so gelungen.
Charlotte Street ist ein Liebeslied? Oder doch ein Trennungslied? Beides!
