6. Band of Horses – Cigarettes, wedding bands
Album: Cease to begin (2007)
Als Albert Koch letztes Jahr im ME das zweite Album dieser Band aus South Carolina, die zwischenzeitlich in Seattle beheimatet war, mit drei Worten bewertete (nämlich Barclay, James und Harvest) und damit zerriss, dachte ich bei mir, warum er die Alben nicht hört, bevor er etwas dazu äußert. Und zwar intensiv. Denn genauso ist das Album. Intensiv und packend. Und über BJH will ich gar nicht dabei nachdenken. Und das ist jetzt keine Wertung.
