4. The Hollies – Bus Stop (1966)

Ende 1962 in Manchester gegründet, folgte bereits Anfang 1963 bei EMI der Plattenvertrag. „The Hollies“ gehörten fortan in den Sixties zu den erfolgreichsten Beat- und Popbands. Der Track „Bus Stop“ war mit Platz 3 in den Single-Charts sowohl im UK als auch in den USA eine der erfolgreichsten Veröffentlichungen der Band, die damals aus Allan Clarke, Graham Nash, Tony Hicks, Bobby Elliott und Bernie Calvert bestand.
