Diese ursprüngliche High School-Band wurde 1964 in San José, Kalifornien, gegründet. Ihre Single „Psychotic reaction“ stieg End Oktober 1966 bis auf Rang 4 der US-Single-Charts. Allerdings und leider blieb die Band quasi ein One Hit-Wonder, da sie sich erlaubten, langfristige Plattenverträge abzulehnen und somit auch nur ein ebenfalls „Psychotic reaction“ betiteltes Album am Start hatten.
