Es ist mehr als das, bzw. was anderes. Man kann auch viel loser, freier perfekt swingen und durchaus auch genauso toll zusammenspielen, auf die anderen eingehen. Es ist irgendwie etwas ganz spezifisches, das etwa das Cannonball Adderley Quintett/Sextett oder das Wynton Kelly Trio ziemlich perfekt verkörpern.
Und jemand wie Brubeck war nie „in the pocket“, egal wie toll geschmiert das Zusammenspielt mit Wright/Morello auch immer gekappt haben mag.
