Hab gerade die „Here comes some soul from Otis Redding & Little Joe Curtis“ bekommen (Marble Arch) und auf dieser Ausgabe sind schon mal überhaupt keine Angaben zu Curtis zu finden.
Den Kommentar von „The Record Robot Blog“ finde ich ganz amüsant:
„Hi Phil, hope you are still on here! I had a Marble Arch copy of this album in the late 60s. „Litle Joe Curtis“ was reputed to be Chris Farlowe (handbags and gladrags, out of time, etc.) One of his other pseudonyms was litle joe cook (stormy monday blues), notorious recording for lots of people thinkin it was made by a black artist!“
Wäre schon interessant rauszufinden, wer der „große“ Unbekannte nun ist, zumal mir seine Stücke sehr gut gefallen.
