ich werde am Mittwoch, hoffentlich ab Mittags gegen 15 Uhr dort eintreffen
und hoffe mal wieder auf Fans aus der Gruppe hier zu treffen und kennen zu lernen
If there is enough interest for a pre-gig town centre gathering I met a
bar owner there at a Prodigy gig last month who would be willing to
accomodate us in much the same way as the BlacknWhite cafe did before
the ’06 Paradiso gigs.
The venue is called the Nes Cafe and is just off Dam Square in the
centre of town.
It is ten minutes walk from Nieuwmarkt metro station which is about a 20
minute journey out of town to the HMH (which for anyone who doesn’t know
is way out of town with not much to do around it).
They have beer at decent (non-tourist) prices and would be willing to
play Crowes dvd’s/cd’s if enough of us are in attendance. They are also
smoker friendly for the green stuff-it is a great rarity to still find
somewhere in town where one can still enjoy these two pursuits under the
same roof and I told him Amoricans tend to be avid consumers of one or
the other!
The bar usually opens at 4pm but again, if enough of us show interest
the manager has said he will open an hour or two earlier at 2 or 3pm to
give us a good few hours session but still leaving time for those who
like to be at the front of the queue when the doors open at 6.30pm time
to get there.
