Monta ist Tobias Kuhn, der seinerseits Sänger bei Miles war und inzwischen seine komplette musikalische Energie in sein Soloprojekt steckt. „Farewell dear ghost“ ist der Opener des Debut-Albums. Monta steht für klassisches Songwriting, detailverliebt, melodieselig, anrührend. Einfach schön. 2007 erschien das Nachfolgealbum „The brillant masses“.
