It’s been promised for years now, but a new Chamber Strings LP is being planned for next year. The group has signed on with Chicago label Ten O‘ Nine to record the full-length follow up to 2001’s ‚Month Of Sundays‘. Recording is slated to start in Febuary 2009 for a spring release. For those that can’t wait that long, California label Avec Vinyl will be releasing a limited edition 7″ (500 copies) in Febuary 2009 of ‚The Check-Out Girls‘ & ‚I Come Apart‘ (A Tragic Comedy). Sowohl „Gospel Morning“ als auch „Month Of Sundays“ sind auf Vinyl erhältlich, aber natürlich nicht mehr so einfach zu finden, vor allem letztgenannte. Schau mal hier, dort habe auch ich mein Exemplar bekommen. Anscheinend verfügt der Anbieter über ein weiteres.
