Der Familienbetrieb Followill, benannt nach Leon Followill, dessen drei Söhne und ein Cousin die Band 2000 in Tennessee gründeten, legte 2003 ein phantastisches Debutalbum mit dem Titel „Youth and young manhood“ vor.
2007 ist ihr drittes Album erschienen und „On call“ war hieraus die erste Single-Auskoppelung
