Jay Farrar steht ja inzwischen doch sehr im Schatten von Jeff Tweedy, was seine Entwicklung angeht. Wobei ihm dieser Vergleich wohl völlig die Petersilie verhageln würde. Dennoch hat er nach Uncle Tupelo mit Son Volt auch einige echte Perlen hervorgebracht.
