Meat Loaf cancels entire tour
The pomp-rocker is diagnosed with a cyst on the vocal cords
Meat Loaf has been forced to cancel the rest of his current tour, following the diagnosis of an ‚inter-vocal cord cyst‘.
The star, who recently pulled out of two gigs after halting a show in Newcastle, was set to perform at Wembley Arena tonight (November 6).
In a statement on his website, Meat Loaf said: „It really breaks my heart not to be able to perform these shows. I was really looking forward to capping off a great year and celebrating the start of the holidays with the fans.
„Let me dispel any rumours before they start – I will be back.“
Inter-vocal cord cysts usually require surgery, although a period of vocal therapy lasting four to six weeks must first be carried out to determine the severity of the condition and the appropriate course of action
