Anne McCue ist eine Australierin mit Wohnsitz in den US of A. Lucinda Williams hat die Lady in den Anfängen ihrer Karriere tatkräftig unterstützt. Anne McCue wird häufig der Schublade Alt.Country zugeordnet, für diese Verhältnisse rockt sie jedoch mitunter recht mächtig. Dabei bedient sie die elektrischen und akustischen Gitarren ebenso wie die LapSteel oder das Banjo. Drei Studio-Alben sind inzwischen erschienen, zuletzt „Koala Motel“ in 2006.
