Das folgende, interessante Zitat hab ich eben entdeckt. Es geht um die unfassbar massiven Back-Katalog-Verkäufe von AC/DC-Alben und den vermuteten Zusammenhang mit ihrer Verweigerung gegenüber i-Tunes (allein für diesen Anachronismus muss man diese Band lieben!):
According to Hits Daily Double, Australian hard-rock legends AC/DC have sold 7 million physical albums in the US between 2004 and 2007, more than the combined physical and digital totals of PINK FLOYD (6 million), THE EAGLES (5.1 million), THE ROLLING STONES (4.9 million) or LED ZEPPELIN (4.7 million). By comparison, THE BEATLES have sold 8 million CDs during the same period. Like THE BEATLES, AC/DC has yet to make its catalog available online, leading to the unanswerable question of how much, if it all, the iTunes boycott has benefited the band’s overall sales.
