ALBUM PRE-ORDER!

Starting from tomorrow (Wednesday), we have an exclusive pre-order.
We’ve just got to grips with it ourselves, so here goes:

If you order the deluxe version of ‚All The Plans,‘ you will immediately have access to the ‚Boy In Waiting‘ digital EP (for free!)
You will also be able to purchase a ticket for the tour for a 48 hour window before they go on general sale.

The Boy In Waiting‘ digital EP is as follows:

1.Boy In Waiting (album track)
2.Do You Believe In Love? (exclusive non album track)
3.Black Limousine (exclusive non album track)
4.Darling Be Home Soon (acoustic Loving Spoonful cover)

The deluxe album will have an extended booklet and will come with an additional cd of acoustic songs.
These comprise a selection of the album tracks stripped down to the form that James originally composed them.
There’ll also be a brand new acoustic song unavailable elsewhere.

Even though the exclusive access to tickets ends after 48 hours the ‚Boy In Waiting‘ EP
will be available to anyone ordering the deluxe album via starsailor.net right up until album release.

We hope that all makes sense and those of you that get hold of the digital EP enjoy it.

..mir ist bewusst, das Starsailor in den letzten jahren keinen guten stand hatten..
aber für alle ‚Love Is Here‘-liebenden sollte die ‚All The Plans‘ mit Bonus Disc ein ‚mUss‘ sein..
die acoustic stücke auf der boni sind grandios arrangiert und erinnern stark an die anfänge.. :)

Ich habe mir „All the plans“ gestern gekauft.
Sie ist wirklich wunderschön und geht wieder ein wenig in die Love-is-here-Richtung. Sehr schöne, gefühlvolle Musik!

Was mich nur wundert ist, dass ich die Doppel-CD mit der Bonus-Disc bisher nirgends finden konnte. Selbst amazon.de listet diese nicht.
Ist das nur ein Schmankerl für Fan-Clubs oder wird diese später veröffentlicht?

Yellowsubmarinewarte auf die Lieferung von BangCD, bin mal sehr gespannt, ich mochte Starsailor, auch wenn das Forum teilweise ja doch sehr negativ eingestellt ist….

die band macht’s einem aber auch leicht … wenn zeilen wie „we all get hurt by love/when you’ve had enough/cracks all start to show/sooner than you know“ und „it hurts too much/i’m letting you go“ derartig pathetisch und ernsthaft vorgetragen werden, und ohne, dass eine kompensierung durch irgendwelche anderen elemente erfolgt …

dafür ist „stars and stripes“ schön. „safe at home“ ist auch nicht schlecht (er kann also auch mal wirklich mit gefühl singen… ohne so wahnsinnig zu übertreiben).

warum haben starsailor nada surf auf „platz 1“ ihrer myspace-top friends?

wie gesagt..sie hatten es in den letzten jahren nicht einfach..
‚all the plans‘ lag ca 2jahre fertig in der schublade , wurden von der EMI hingehalten und sind jetzt bei virgin unter vertrag..
die band hielt sich mit vereinzelten festivals über wasser und James Walsh tingelte in der zwischenzeit auch solo durch die lande..
jetzt muß sich erst wieder erfolg einstellen um ‚extravaganzen‘ wie vinyl zu bringen..
man siehts auch an den ‚merch‘, wie es um sie bestellt ist…:krank: ..nur restbestände..
