Die 38-jährige Songwriterin, Sängerin und Gitarristin wurde geboren und wuchs auf in Mechanicsville (heißt wirklich so!) in der Nähe von Ottawa, Kanada, wo sie heute lebt. Sie hat bereits 10 Alben draußen, die von hervorragender Blues- und Roots-Informiertheit zeugen. Auf dem Cover des Albums, aus dem der hier gehörte Track stammt, ist zu lesen: „With a voice that’s as innocent as it is sexy and a guitar style that drips with juicy passion.“ Nuff said.
