„The Wire“
That is the best show on television. Period.
Actually TV is better than movies now, I don’t know if you’ve seen any bad movies lately, but right now TV networks have realized people buy shows on DVD and they’re letting writers and creators do, like, seasonal art. [A show like] Arrested Development is not a half hour comedy– even though it was in a way– it’s a six hour comedy movie that’s just so airtight and relentless.
„The Best Show“ on WFMU. Fucking kills. Oh my God! That show is so good. I could listen to Tom Scharpling talk about anything. If that show were eight hours long, eight hours of my week would be gone listening to it.
